Differences: Impact Crusher VS Jaw Crusher

As both impact crusher and jaw crusher are important crusher in the process of breaking, this paper shows us the difference between the two to help us choose a suitable one when purchasing.

The application of impact crusher:
The impact crusher can handle various coarse, medium and fine materials(granite, limestone, concrete, and so on)that side up to 500mm and the compressive strength of which is more than 350MPa, it is widely used in water and electricity, highways, artificial aggregate and crushing industries.

The performance characteristics of impact crusher:
The unique structure, keyless connection, high-chromium plate hammer, particular impact liner; hard rock crushing, energy-efficient; the product shape is cube, adjustable discharging grain size, streamlined broken process.

Impact crusher working principle:
While operating, rotor spinning at high speed driven by a electric motor, the materials are crushed with hammers on the rotor when entered and were re-broken on a counterattack to the liner, and finally discharged from the outlet.

The Jaw Crusher was commonly used in the production of beneficiation plants and gravel plants. This machine, compared with the other crushers, has the advantages of low cost and high efficiency.

The requirements of jaw crusher about abrasion resistance is very high, usually made of high wear-resistant manganese steel lining plate. When operating, two block jaw board (manganese steel) are inside its broken cavity, the fixed one is called fixed jaw, it is fixed on the crusher cavity on the front wall with the top side tilt slightly outward, another back and forth moving jaw board is commonly known as moving jaw, also called jaw tongue, located tilt, just formed an inverted trapezoid broken cavity (work cavity) with the fixed jaw. The moving jaw and fixed jaw integrand with each other over and over again. When they two separate, d jaw material immediately entering the crushing chamber, then broken good product discharged from the crusher bottom; the entered material in crushing cavity are grinded by extrusion force of the interaction between two jaw when they move close, as a result, material bends and split by the role so as to make the material broken. This is the whole process how the materials are tattered.

Vibratory crusher is efficient vibration crusher which improved based on similar foreign products , mainly used for resin-bonded sand broken. Suspended vibration theory is used in vibratory crusher, vibrating motor produce vibration torque, making sand blocks a certain vibration vibration, by colliding and rubbing the sand grains achieve the purpose of crushing.
